A little about me...
I pick up my camera to find the beauty in the simplest moments
Photography is the way I find peace in the world. One of my earliest memories is from driving through the valleys of central California with my Grandfather. He wanted to photograph the spring time bloom and I wanted to spend time with him. I played while he set up his tripod and would ask him to pick me up so I could look through the viewfinder after he had everything set. I still remember the golden colored wheat-grass hillside spotted with purple flowers so clearly.

Fact 1
I have lived in ELEVEN different states! (so far.) Mostly New England, but California is still the longest single stretch. Alaska was one of my favorites, and if I added a twelfth, it would probably be Washington or Colorado. I've also spent more than a year traveling outside the country (in chunks) including living in Czech Republic for a few months.

Fact 2
I really love being active. It's an important part of the balance in my life to spend a good amount of my time rock climbing or snowboarding when I can. I've also been salsa dancing since 2011 and got into fire flow arts through the burning man community. Dragon Staff was my pandemic hobby!

Fact 3
I'm an artschool grad with a minor in creative writing. My photography background was focused on photojournalism before shifting to private clients. Every time I've made a big shift in my primary work I've always been impressed by how much I still love photography.

Fact 4
I have hitch-hiked more than 6,000 miles. My biggest trip started on the coast of Maine and finished on the coast of Alaska, in Anchorage. That trip involved some major life events that set off my pursuit of photography as a career. And now here we are. :)
